Highlights

• At-Store Recycling Program (Plastic Carryout Bags)
  OAL approved the permanent regulations on September 9, 2008.
• Disposal Site Gas Monitoring and Control Compliance Deadlines
  A 45-day public comment period runs from September 12 through October 27, 2008.
• Long-Term Postclosure Maintenance and Corrective Action Cost Estimates and Financial Assurance Demonstrations for Landfills (Phase 2)
  At its September 2008 meeting the Board will consider directing staff to formally notice proposed regulations for a 45-day public comment period.
• Rigid Plastic Packaging Container Law
  Staff is conducting an on-line Economic Impact Survey for the businesses that will be impacted by the proposed revisions to the regulations
• Tire Hauler and Manifest
  A 45-day public comment period runs from October 3 through November 17, 2008.
