Annual Reporting: Household Hazardous Waste Collection Information

Form 303: HHW Collection Data and Voluntary Survey Responses for FY 2006/07

Each jurisdiction in California is mandated to complete a Form (CIWMB 303a or 303b) annually. The purpose of the form is to gather data regarding the amount of HHW collected by local programs and their methods for managing these waste streams. The form specifically fulfills the reporting requirements of the Household Hazardous Waste Element of the CIWMB's Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plans, and it has also been regulated to satisfy the Department of Toxic Substances Control directive to collaboratively maintain HHW volume totals with the CIWMB for all HHW collection events, facilities, and programs within the State.

HHW Program Collection Totals (MS Excel, 82 KB): Provides total waste volume amounts collected for all reported HHW programs (including permanent, temporary, recycle only, mobile, door to door, and any other type of collection program the jurisdiction identifies as part of their HHW collection program) that were sponsored in the previous fiscal year, starting July 1 of the previous year and ending July 30 of the current year.

Each jurisdiction is also encouraged to complete annually a voluntary survey on program collection and disposal costs and other information of CIWMB interest. Results of the survey questions are provided below in an attempt to present jurisdictions with a larger perspective on statewide HHW programs.
