CalMAX Adds Automated Ad Management and Improved Search!

CalMAX has always been a very popular feature on the Board’s website, although ad maintenance could be time-consuming for users. So the CIWMB has developed a new, more user-friendly version including improved search features, customized ad alerts, and self-service ad management.

Specific Benefits

Updated search features are available to everyone; however, advertisers and regular users of CalMAX can make use of advanced features by creating a WebPass account, which takes less than five minutes. (Access the CalMAX Sign-In page and select "Sign up.") Once you have your WebPass, just select My CalMAX on the left menu to enjoy more new CalMAX features.

In the new My CalMAX, you can:

• Create (and edit or delete) your own ads at any time, and choose between submitting the ad immediately or saving a draft. You can also now include an image with your ad!
• Save your user contact information in an online profile and edit it at any time. This information is pre-filled for you when creating a new materials exchange ad.
• View (and edit or delete) all of your advertisements, whether active or not.
• Renew or retire your ads.
• Report an exchange at any time. Any time an exchange is reported, the system will automatically adjust the remaining quantity of the associated ad.
• Automatically receive an email whenever one of your ads approaches its end date. The email will link to a web page where you can quickly and easily report an exchange and/or choose to renew the ad.
• Create (and edit or delete) any number of alerts allowing you to receive emails when ads matching your criteria are posted.
